IBIS, ITALIAN CHARCUTERIE SINCE 1962

The Ibis brand was founded in 1962, when a small bacon and mortadella production facility was opened in Busseto, the heart of Parma’s farmland.

In the 90s, Ibis created its first mortadella “branded” internally with a heart, visible slice after slice: the prestigious “Mortadella Cuor di Paese”, which remains still today one of the recognised and most appreciated of delicatessen products.

In 2002 Ibis became part of the Cremonini Group and, in a few years, it started to offer a wide and complete range of products, covering the whole panorama of Italian quality cured meats.

Today Ibis has one of the most modern and efficient industry in Italy, very competitive manufacturing costs with a high level of quality and safety. It is able to export its products in more than 50 countries in the world.

The single plants have been allocated in the most important Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) areas to offer a wide range of tipical Italian products. With the new plant in Toronto, we are now able to bring all the good of Italian charcuterie in North America.
