IBIS, ITALIAN CHARCUTERIE SINCE 1962

The Ibis brand was created in 1962, when in Busseto, in the centre of the Parma countryside, a small plant for the production of mortadellas and bacons was installed.

In the ’90s, Ibis produced the first “designer” mortadella, slice after slice with a heart: the prestigious “Mortadella Cuor di Paese” which is still today one of the most recognised and appreciated delicatessen products.

In 2002 Ibis became part of the Cremonini Group and a few years later started to offer a full range of products, covering the whole panorama of Italian selected cured meats.

Today Ibis has installed one of the most modern and efficient production facility in Italy, taking advantage of very competitive processing costs and high level of quality and safety. The facility exports its products in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Each plant has been allocated within the well-recognised regions identified with PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) marks to offer a wide range of typical Italian products. With the new plant in Toronto, we are now able to bring all the Italian charcuterie line to North America.
